September, 1998. Release toughts

PC-TOP (c) All Rights Reserved 1993-1998. release date: 10-01-98. all right boys and girls, this is the 60th release of PC-TOP congratulations! Right now were getting hot, new groups are getting in (thanks for the support!) and we get those massive byte amounts listed, in the long waited Monthly-Top. We have new boards in, one bbs turned from 'bbs to telnet' and one new member. Current status: 4 telnet boards, 1 bbs So I guess its nothing much to say, except keep on trading guys and sign those group top positions (seven positions left) up so we can have some competition. Background information PC-TOP has been running in finland since 1993 every month, with the exception of summer 1995 when JUVE REHAB was busted and the top had few months vacation. Release date/time is first day of the month, 0200 GMT or later, which means usually the releases come no later than 15 minutes. PC-TOP is monthly uploaders chart, every month we release the 'last-months-top-uploaders' statistics. Memberboards of this chart will not be listed and the host will not tell anyone about the boards, this is the policy from 1993 when we had the reason not to tell anyone about the bytes of these boards. Of course if ALL the telnet sysops want to list the names of the boards... sure I'll do that, but its my feeling that this system works okay like it is. Groups--- If you want your group listed, please send me email or leave mail directly on a PC-TOP memberboard, leave info as the groupname but please note that we support only one group so you'll have to choose if you're in fifty or more groups, its the one that counts.
