| PC-TOP (c) All Rights Reserved 1993-1994. release date: 05-01-94. Yiihaa! Another PC-TOP release is out, full set of 10 packages have been succesfully released... and there is much more to come. The bytes in PC-TOP are going quite fast to the respectable levels, even at the single users begin to have few GIGS of upload bytes, nice going dudes! we're still waiting those cool VFAST modems and people are using very much of HS/LINK these days, and there has some new BI-Directional protocoll called Smodem available now. Bi-Directional is the way to use... except for Importers, lamers only use one way protocol :-) 'Why my goddam bytes didn't show up on this PC-TOP package!?!?!?!?!?!' Please notice that if some board joins PC-TOP and you start to upload there alot of stuff, THE BYTES WILL *NOT* BE INCLUDED THE USER_MONTHLY stats! why? Well the boards first .DAT file will be Initialized only to zero state at the moment of release fex PCTOP10, and the NEXT release will show full montly bytes. The normal ALL_TIME_BYTES will of course show up if you have uploaded something to 'new' PC-TOP memberboard. Only time PC-TOP programs (Mucho thanks to JAJ!) have failed was the abnormal bytes in last release, and that was corrected with PCTOP09U.ZIP pack. Lot of questions have been asked about the PC-TOP VGA/GUS! version, when its coming out, does it have nofuckingsound-option and in what state is it at this moment etc. - Well the release date is at ASSEMBLY '94 parties, we might get some cool PC-TOP T-shirts and posters etc for you fans out there... or not :) - Nosound option? what soundcard is that? If you can provide player routine for us I think we can make it. (Unless of course it works under SBOS?). - At the moment the basic engine for the VGA stuff is ready, quite ready... ready so far that no bug-testing have done yet. And the effects etc demolook, well that will take some time more, and it REALLY depends on many things what will be the final outcome, but it will be something... Nice. Blaah, who wants to read this miss-spelled stuff anyway, go to see some great PC-TOP package and after that... find a nearest PC-TOP Memberboard, login and use that damn "U" of yers! :) There are currently 17 boards in the list, and total of 461 Users.
